As part of the Ukrainian diaspora business forum “World Ukrainians 2026: From Solidarity to Joint Action”, a panel discussion titled “The Role of Ukrainian Women in Attracting Investment to Ukraine and Building Ukraine’s Image Worldwide” took place.
Business Woman Club joined the “World Ukrainians 2026” forum as part of the international discussion on cooperation, investment, and women’s leadership.
The discussion was moderated by Hanna Krysiuk, President of Business Woman Club, who emphasized the role of Ukrainian women in developing international cooperation, building economic partnerships, and promoting Ukraine’s positive image globally.
The panel featured:
- Stella-Kateryna Kurhaieva – representative of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Dominican Republic;
- Khrestyna Kmiet – representative of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Australia;
- Kateryna Turska – founder and head of the national advocacy movement “Mahi for Ukraine” in New Zealand, Vice President of the New Zealand-Ukrainian Business Association, founder of the Australia-New Zealand-Ukraine Cooperation Forum;
- Oksana Shorlemmer – founder of Nord Haus UA and Director of the Business Woman magazine representative office in Germany;
- Olena Shevchuk – founder of the NGO “Ukrainians of Armenia”.
During the discussion, speakers focused on the role of diaspora and business networks in developing international partnerships, attracting investment to Ukrainian initiatives, supporting women’s entrepreneurship as part of economic diplomacy, and promoting Ukraine on global markets.
Special attention was paid to practical cases of international cooperation, advocacy initiatives in different countries, and the role of Ukrainian women in shaping Ukraine’s modern international image.
The event was organized by the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the support of Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
