An official diplomatic reception dedicated to the National Day of the Republic of Slovenia was hosted in Kyiv by Matea Prevolšek, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Slovenia to Ukraine.
The event began with a moment of silence in memory of those who lost their lives and the performance of the national anthems of Ukraine and Slovenia.
In her welcoming remarks, Ambassador Matea Prevolšek emphasized the importance of continued cooperation between Slovenia and Ukraine and reaffirmed Slovenia’s support for Ukraine.
The reception also featured speeches by Yevhen Perebyinis, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, and Serhii Tiurin, Head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration, who presented the results of joint projects implemented in cooperation with Slovenia.
The event brought together representatives of the diplomatic corps, government institutions, international organizations, business, and civil society.
Among the participants and mentors of Business Woman Club were:
- Hanna Krysiuk — President of Business Woman Club;
- Elena Leticia Mikusinski — Ambassador of Argentina to Ukraine;
- Andrija Djuranovic — mentor of Business Woman Club, Deputy Head of Mission of Montenegro to Ukraine and First Secretary;
- Andon Sapundzi — Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Ukraine.
Representatives of the Embassies of Azerbaijan and Egypt in Ukraine also attended the reception.
During the event, Hanna Krysiuk congratulated Ambassador Matea Prevolšek on Slovenia’s National Day and thanked her for supporting Ukraine, strengthening bilateral relations, and fostering cooperation with the international Business Woman Club community.
As a symbol of respect and appreciation, Ambassador Prevolšek was presented with white hydrangeas representing sincerity, harmony, and friendship between nations.
