Business Woman Club held an online meeting on the topic “Legal protection of women in times of challenges” with the participation of the club’s mentor, the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets.
The meeting was conducted in a Q&A format, allowing participants to directly discuss relevant legal issues and receive professional explanations.
One of the key topics raised during the discussion was the issue of legal status after the loss of a spouse. In particular, participants addressed situations where official documents may still indicate a “married” status, which creates practical difficulties and requires additional verification.
Dmytro Lubinets noted that this issue is sensitive and requires further consideration at the level of state authorities. He expressed readiness to initiate procedural steps and take the matter under control in order to obtain official clarifications and develop possible improvements to the current regulatory framework.
The meeting became an important platform for discussing practical legal challenges faced by women and for identifying systemic solutions in the field of legal protection.
