On May 21, the Ukrainian-Chinese Women’s Business Forum took place, becoming an important international platform for economic dialogue, partnership development, and strengthening cooperation between women’s business communities of Ukraine and China.
The event was organized by Business Woman Club together with the Qingdao Association of Women Entrepreneurs with the support of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Ukraine, CCOIC Qingdao, Business Woman magazine, and the NGO “World Ukrainians”.
The forum opened with remarks by Hanna Krysiuk, President of Business Woman Club and moderator of the event. Participants were also welcomed by Shengkun Ma, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Ukraine, and Zhang Xiumin, President of the Qingdao Association of Women Entrepreneurs.
The speakers emphasized the strategic importance of strengthening Ukrainian-Chinese economic partnership and the role of women’s business leadership in international cooperation.
The forum included a session dedicated to business presentations and market opportunities in Ukraine and China.
Speakers included representatives of leading companies and business communities from both countries:
- Alina Skomorokhova, CEO of Tin Impex metallurgical plant and Board Member of Business Woman Club;
- Zhang Xiumin, President of the Qingdao Association of Women Entrepreneurs;
- Mariia Chorna, Deputy Director of Agraresurs-A and Board Member of Business Woman Club;
- Liu Shuyan, Sales Director at Qingdao Rongshengda International Logistics Co., Ltd.;
- Zhanna Kondratieva, CEO and co-owner of SKY ENERGY;
- Zhang Hua, CEO of Qingdao Lexin Garment Co., Ltd.;
- Ma Aixing, Deputy General Director of Qingdao Xiangjian Industrial Engineering Co., Ltd.
Participants presented their companies, outlined key business areas, and discussed opportunities for Ukrainian-Chinese economic cooperation.
Special attention was paid to cooperation in agriculture, industry, logistics, energy, consulting, investments, and industrial partnerships.
The final part of the forum focused on practical cooperation and the development of new partnerships between business communities of Ukraine and China.
The parties also reached a preliminary agreement on organizing a business delegation to China in the middle of summer, which will become the next step in expanding international cooperation.
The forum became an important step in strengthening international dialogue, developing women’s business leadership, and expanding economic opportunities between Ukraine and China.
