Business Woman Club together with the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry held a meeting of the business community with Iryna Mudra, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, on the topic: “Compensation for damages to businesses caused by the aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine.”
The event was moderated by Hanna Krysiuk, President of Business Woman Club.
The meeting began with a minute of silence in memory of the fallen defenders of Ukraine and all victims of russian aggression.
Opening remarks were delivered by Rostyslav Korobka, Vice President of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who emphasized the importance of consolidating efforts between the state, international partners, and the business community to create effective compensation mechanisms for Ukrainian businesses.

During her speech, Iryna Mudra presented detailed information about the work of the International Register of Damage for Ukraine (RD4U), an international system created by Ukraine, the Council of Europe, the European Union, and partner countries to document damages and losses caused by russian aggression.

Participants discussed the development of the international compensation mechanism, legal and diplomatic challenges related to the Register, and international support for the use of frozen russian assets for Ukraine’s recovery and future compensation payments.
Special attention was paid to practical issues critical for Ukrainian businesses, including:
- proper documentation of damages;
- required supporting documents;
- common mistakes made by entrepreneurs;
- practical steps from filing a claim to receiving compensation.
The discussion also covered new opportunities for businesses within the Register of Damage mechanism. In 2026, new categories of claims were introduced specifically for legal entities, state institutions, and entrepreneurs regarding damaged or lost assets, commercial property, and business interruption losses.

Participants had the opportunity to ask questions about compensation prospects, international support for Ukraine, and the role of business associations and chambers of commerce in assisting entrepreneurs during the claims process.
Hanna Krysiuk thanked the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for its partnership in organizing the meeting and expressed gratitude to Iryna Mudra for her professional explanation of international legal compensation mechanisms for Ukrainian businesses.
Business Woman Club continues to organize such meetings to support business development, exchange expertise, and create practical solutions for the recovery and growth of entrepreneurship in Ukraine.
