On April 16, a meeting took place at the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine between its Director Ihor Ostash and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Montenegro to Ukraine, Business Woman Club member Boryanka Semichevich.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of cooperation in the field of diplomatic education and professional training. In particular, the Ambassador invited Ukrainian diplomats to participate in the 19th Summer School for Young Diplomats named after Gavro Vuković, which will take place from June 21 to 26 in Montenegro.
This year’s international forum “Next Generation Leaders in Foreign Affairs and Security” will focus on the role of diplomacy in addressing modern challenges, maintaining peace, strengthening international security, and exploring new models of global cooperation.
During the meeting, Ihor Ostash and Boryanka Semichevich agreed on the development of joint educational initiatives. These include the involvement of Montenegrin lecturers in teaching maritime law and Balkan studies, as well as participation of Montenegrin officials in training programs on European integration for Ukrainian diplomats and civil servants.
The parties also emphasized Montenegro’s continued support for Ukraine during the war and the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation.
