As part of the Business Woman Club business mission to Qingdao, the Ukrainian delegation visited Qingdao Hailiya Group (Haili), a high-tech company specializing in the development of equipment and solutions for safety and life-saving operations.
The company is headed by Zhang Xiumin, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Haili and Chairwoman of the Qingdao Women Entrepreneurs Association. During the meeting, the Ukrainian delegation was introduced to the company’s production facilities, key areas of activity, and technologies designed for use in challenging conditions and emergency situations.
One of Haili’s areas of expertise is the production of high-strength ropes and advanced synthetic cables. Combining exceptional strength with low weight, these products are used in the space industry, deep-sea exploration, as well as rescue and evacuation operations.
The delegation was also presented with emergency rescue kits designed for use during emergencies. They include first-aid kits, devices for locating people trapped under rubble, thermal blankets, heat-retaining films, glass breakers, and other compact rescue equipment.
The visit also highlighted Haili’s educational activities. The company operates interactive safety classrooms where children learn how to respond to fires, natural disasters, and other emergency situations, as well as practical skills that can help save lives.
For the Ukrainian delegation, Haili’s experience in emergency rescue equipment, civil protection, and public safety education was of particular interest. These areas have strong potential for further cooperation and could contribute to the development of Ukraine’s safety and civil protection systems.
